Power Herbs

Which herbs do u use to give u power for the day, evening, life in general? Did u know that herbs can promote power both eaten, burned, alone but more so combined? Do u take the time to study some herbs and their properties for ur health? Do u know what they promote for u? If not, then read on and learn a few things, lol :) (Recipes included).

*Sage*

Mother of herbs, at least to me, lol. Sage is great for WISDOM. It can be burned for cleansing and purification. Its deep scent is strong and can promote protection, but mainly is good for meditation. It can be infused in olive oil for cooking. Sage essential oil can be worn in small amounts for rituals (always check a small amount on ur wrist in case of allergic reaction, if any signs or burning sensations, do not use on the body), u can add a few drops to a hankie or special cloth and carry it in a pocket. Sage can help u become more relaxed in new situations, help u become a more humble person, it can remind u to stop and think before reacting, it also can help u concentrate on studies and reading, thus all of this helping promote retained wisdom. A wonderful herb to burn with sage is Rosemary, which helps build memory, thus making u wiser.

*Bay Leaf*

Bay Leaf is a wonderful herb for stews, soups and oils. It can also be burned as an incense to promote PSYCHIC POWERS. Its used for a tool in reading auras, mental projection, divination, empathy, faith, precognition, and scrying. U can wear the essential oil of Bay Leaf (test a small spot on ur wrist for allergic reaction, if any burning sensation, discontinue) or put it on a hankie or other special cloth and place in a pocket to give a boost to ur psychic energies.

*Anise*

Ground Anise can be burned in small amounts, but used in foods seems to work better at promoting HAPPINESS. U can also add anise to oils such as olive, coconut or sweet almond for a nice flavor and scent. It is recommended by me that if u use anise essential oil, that u place it on a hankie or special cloth and carry it in a pocket, u may add a drop of this to an oil base and wear that, but discontinue if any burning sensation happens, always check a small amount on ur wrist for allergic reactions, discontinue if u believe u have an allergy. Anise promotes an uplifting of ur personality and raises ur mood. Anise incense draws joy to u and helps in being more content and having gratitude.

*Cinnamon*

To send ur intent out to the Lady and Lord, cinnamon incense or burning ground incense is the best for SPIRITUALITY. Long ago, cinnamon was more valuable than gold, it is precious and delicious, lol. Cinnamon also used to be medicine, so take heed on its benefits for mind, body and soul. It has anti-clotting benefits, it controls ur blood sugar levels and boosts brain function, meaning: it helps in u gaining more knowledge in turn becoming wiser. Using cinnamon helps u gain insight to personal growth and benefits ur mental health. It is used as a coping tool in relationship issues, parenting issues and health issues.

*Ginger*

Everyone enjoys EXPERIENCES and ADVENTURES. Well, ginger draws these to u. Carry a chunk in ur pocket or purse to promote wonderful experiences to u. Ground ginger can be burned as an incense to promote an adventurous life. Its a pick me up when life becomes stagnant. Its a wonderful, hot spice and when used as an amulet in the bedroom, can spice up ur love life. U can make a love oil using a chunk of ginger in coconut oil and use as a massage oil (be sure to test a small amount of oil on the person getting the massages wrist for any allergic reactions, if burning happens, do not use on the body). Ginger helps u become more bold and take chances.

GINGER HOT CHOCOLATE

  • 2 cups milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond; coconut or cow's would work well, too)

  • 1 cup water

  • sweetener to taste (I used 1 packet non-bitter stevia, but agave, raw sugar, honey, etc. would work fine, too)

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ground or fresh grated ginger (depending on preference)

  • 1/4 cup cocoa or cacao powder

  • pinch sea salt

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 2-3 ginger candies (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk and water in a medium saucepan. Once it comes to a simmer, reduce heat slightly and whisk in cocoa powder, sea salt and ginger. Whisk vigorously to incorporate.

  2. Once the cocoa is hot enough for your liking (about 3-5 minutes), remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Stir once more.

  3. Take your ginger candies and rub them along the rims of your serving glasses or mugs. Eat or discard; they get mushy when added to the beverage.

  4. Pour in hot cocoa and top with coconut cream, whipped cream or marshmallows - whatever you like.
