Unusual Weight Loss Tips
Have u been having a hard time losing weight? Heck, I have. :) So much of do this and dont do that has been crammed into my head since I was young. Granted, yes eating and exercise is helpful, but I have found a few other tips that could benefit ur search for the lower number on ur scale.
It is possible that u eat more because ur body is missing, or is low, on certain nutrients. Popping a vitamin in the morning can curb ur need to eat more by giving ur body what its missing. This in no way is a weight loss plan though. Be sure to talk with ur doctor about any vitamin needs u may be having an issue with. I have to take vitamin D pills for lack of sun exposure recently. So get urself checked out! Also, people on allergy medications (antihistamines) are 10 pounds heavier than those who aren't on allergy meds. Talk with ur doc about alternatives.
Eating out and Happy Hours are invitations for over eating. A tip is sitting at the ends of the table, not the center where the bread sticks, bread slices or chips may be placed. Also, after an unhealthy meal, dont be down on urself. Everyone indulges sometimes. Felling guilty also triggers over eating. Did u know that eating whole foods makes ur body work harder to break them down, thus u burn more calories eating them? :O Shocking, but true! Also, choosing to use a smaller plate, tricks ur mind into thinking its eating a grand meal...by the way, fyi, smaller plates hold the correct portions, larger plate hold over sized portions, js. :)
If u are taking a cayenne pepper pill thinking thats helping u in weight loss, stop, its not. Eating cayenne in ur food revs up ur metabolism when consumed IN foods. Save the breads for last. U dont have to restrict carbs, just eat less of them. Eating them at the end of a meal gives the opportunity for u to consume less. Also, did u know that sugar substitutes had lab rats gaining weight? U best bet is natural sugars in small amounts, such as those in fruits.
Also, it helps to read ur e-mail. It not only pulls u from eating, but also u can find loads of weight loss, food prep, exercise tips, etc in them. Look up and sign up for weight loss newsletters, look up food tracking apps for ur cell phone, ask friends to help research ideas and email them to u.
Weird, but true, sleeping in total darkness can keep u slimmer. Having lights on, even dim ones had people stalking the fridge at night. Use an eye mask for help if u just cant have the tv, lappy or a night light off. Sleeping in a somewhat chilly room improves ur metabolism. Ranges in temps help the body kick in its own calorie burning furnace. :) Sleeping in a bit chiller room helps ur body burn calories for a few hours staying warm.
Watch less tv...this ones a no brainer, lol. :) On average a person watches at least 5 hours of tv a day. U burn more calories doing other things, such as ready, going for a walk, talking on the phone, etc.
Did u know that it is very difficult to exercise weight off? It actually isnt even why u lose weight. Portions control and calorie intake is what helps the body lose that excess weight. U need exercise to help ur muscles compensate the weight u are loosing. It is a benefit to ur cardiovascular system, to ur mental health, etc. Doing cardio and toning exercises five times a week will keep ur metabolism running great. :)
An odd find was that drinking one or two glasses of wine had people losing weight more than those who had only one AND those who drink excessively. Its thought if u SIP throughout the day, u consume less food. And it was found that women burn more calories than men after drinking. This in no way says u should become a lush to loss weight, lol. :) Always, ALWAYS, talk with ur doc before deciding to have any alcohol, especially on a daily basis. Alcohol is not good for the mentally ill, those with other health conditions, and also with some meds u are taking. So, check with the doc first.
And this concludes my unusual weight loss tips. I hope u enjoyed reading my smexy peeps. Dont fret if u dont lose weight right away, it takes time, effort and patience.
Happy tip trying! -Muah-
