Sophia Agrees-We Hate Dishes

Today Sophia and I decided to finally get everyones dishes done, lol. With alot of complaining from both of us, we hit the sink...so to speak. I filled the sink with my favorite dish soap (Dawn), and took a scrubby that my sis made me and tackled the grease and grime. I popped on some angry, have to do dishes music as I handed Sophia the dish towel, she scowled at me which made me chuckle. I handed her a spoon to dry and she looked at me like I was cray cray, again I chuckled, only...louder. :) She looked around, and humffed, finally getting to drying it as I moved on.

She kept climbing toward me and trying to splash the water, so I finally handed her the dish rag and held her as I let her try her hand at washing dishes...though she seemed to want to play more than work, lol. :) Velcro stayed clear of the kitchen, watching us with a leery eye.I drained the sink and refilled when it got blah so I could wash the glasses...I hate washing my glasses in unclean water. :( Sophia proceeded to dry the big plastic cups we received from the General Dollars stores grand opening. She loves to play with those cups while splashing in the tub during a bath.

She became fussy, I glaced at the clock, about 1pm, yep...almost time for her nap. I set her on the floor with a pot and a wooden spoon, hoping she could entertain herself for a bit while I finished doing the dishes. She banged and clattered to the music. I think she believed she was the bands drummer. :)

Soon I was done and Sophia was yawning big and getting fussy. I gave her a drink of lemon water from my Dollar Tree water bottle. She looked at me thankfully, smiled this beautiful little smile and I carried her off to her bed for a nap.

All in all...we learned the dishes aren't so bad after all...when u have company to help. :)
